PriceLens does not collect, store or transmit any personal information or browsing history.
Price detection and conversion run entirely inside your browser. Page content never leaves your device, and the extension never reads what you type into text fields, post composers or search boxes.
Your settings (target currencies, display style, site lists, per-site symbol choices) are kept in Chrome's extension storage and are synced between your own devices only if you use Chrome Sync. Cached exchange rates stay in local extension storage.
To get current rates, the extension requests public rate tables from open.er-api.com, cdn.jsdelivr.net, latest.currency-api.pages.dev and api.frankfurter.dev. These requests contain only currency codes. As with any web request, these providers can see the requesting IP address.
PriceLens uses no analytics, advertising or tracking, does not sell or transfer user data, and does not run remotely hosted code. Removing the extension deletes all of its stored data.
